We’re delighted you’re thinking of visiting Upminster Baptist Church. We’re a Baptist church, which means we’re a community of believers who seek to follow Jesus together, value the Bible as our guide, and practice believer’s baptism as a personal expression of faith. Whether you’re new to church, returning after a while, or just curious, you’ll find a warm, friendly welcome here.

Sunday Services – 10:30am

Our relaxed Sunday service includes worship, teaching, and community, finishing around 11:45am. Come early for a chat, or stay afterward for tea and coffee — a great way to meet people.

Everyone’s Welcome

There’s no dress code — just come as you are. Families are a big part of our church, and children are always welcome (noise and all!). Whatever our age, we can experience the Spirit's work in the freshness of the young, the faithfulness of the old and the church where we gather together.

For Families

• Sunday School (3–10 yrs) – fun, engaging activities about faith.

• Youth Group (11–18 yrs) – a relaxed space to explore life and faith.

Kids join the start of the service before heading to their groups if they wish.

New or Visiting?

There’s no pressure — just come, listen, and explore faith at your own pace. If you’re new to the area or looking for a church home, we’d love to meet you.

More Than Sundays

Join our Growth Groups and Prayer Meetings to explore faith, build friendships, and grow spiritually together.

Our Community Groups - for example, Men’s Shed, Lunch Club, and Wellbeing Group - offer relaxed, welcoming spaces to connect, share skills, and support one another.
